For those of you who don’t know, I have been a Neutrogena Brand Ambassador for quite some time now. Not only because I love their products but mostly because I love their message and what they do for the community and for empowering women. And well, they have done it again! Through thousands of hours meeting with women around the world, Neutrogena uncovered a universal truth – women are stepping back to examine what’s possible in their lives so they can pursue their dreams. Always on a mission to create, innovate, and rethink what’s possible in skincare, Neutrogena identified this shared value and was inspired to launch its first-ever global campaign: “See What’s Possible.”
I wanted to share this campaign with all of you because it’s something I truly believe in. I actually did just the above – stepped away from my corporate lifestyle a few years ago and entered into the world of beauty and blogging.I took my life into my own hands and made something of it!
Today I’m proud to say, I’m my very own #girlboss.
I want to encourage every one of you to do the same. I get so many messages from my readers asking me how I did and telling me they want to do the same, and my best advice is to just GO for it! Trust me, I had fears and if I had listened to them, I’d still be in that corporate accounting world but I took a chance. Nothing in life comes easy, but when you want something YOU make it possible!
Now, I don’t know what you all have going on this Sunday, but I know there is a little thing called the Academy Awards and I’ll definitely be glued to my TV.
On top of it, the Neutrogena “See What’s Possible” campaign will make its broadcast debut at the 88th Academy Awards on Sunday Feb. 28 (7 p.m. ET /4 p.m. PT on ABC). The ad is voiced by Brand Ambassador and creative consultant Kerry Washington and features real women following their passions. The empowering video brings to life the brand’s point of view on beauty – what really makes a woman beautiful is the ability to look in the mirror and know that anything is possible. And with what I’ve accomplished in the past few years, this speaks VOLUMES and I encourage every one of you to watch it and get a bit of inspiration from it.
You can also view Neutrogena’s “See What’s Possible” campaign here as well as on their YouTube channel (which you may see a few videos of yours truly at the same time). It’s so important for us as women to start empowering each other rather than competing with each other and I love Neutrogena’s message about seeing what is possible and believing in everything you want to be and do in life.
If you’re interested in joining the conversation and sharing your own personal story and/or words of encouragement to empower women across social media, use the hashtag #SeeWhatsPossible and don’t forget to tune in to the 88th Academy Awards on Sunday Feb. 28 (7 p.m. ET /4 p.m. PT on ABC).
