I’m sharing #NUTRO™ in my life as part of a NUTRO™ sponsored series for Socialstars™.
I may not be a regular mom but I still consider myself a very obsessed and overprotective dog mom and those of you who can relate then you know that means giving the absolute best to our little fur babies! Merlot (yep that’s his name) is my absolute world and my best friend. I live alone and am single so having my little buddy with me every step of the way means the world. Having lost my last dog a few years back to health complications, I’m especially conscious of what I give Merlot. I mean, I pay attention to the ingredients in my own food so why wouldn’t I make it a priority to feed my pup all natural, non-GMO food.
Who’s with me?
As you guys know, I’ve kind of been on a bit of a health kick myself and as a result, Merlot got the same upgrade! I started feeding him the NUTROTM Limited Ingredient Diet Small Bites Adult Dry Dog Food Lam & Sweet Potatoe Recipe and he loves it – and let me tell you he is quite picky. The limited ingredient diet is great because it avoids ingredients that commonly cause food sensitivities to dogs. Most importantly it is made with NON-GMO ingredients† (my fav) and has vitamins, minerals and other nutrients mixed in there.
†Trace amounts of genetically modified material may be present due to potential cross contact during manufacturing.
This is the particular one that I’m feeding Merlot right now. He tends to have a lot of allergies so I’m all about the fact that this one uses 10 key ingredients or less, never adds artificial preservatives, flavors, or colors and does not use ingredients like chicken by-product meal, corn, wheat, or soy protein since these are sometimes the culprit of food sensitivities in dogs. It’s made with Duck, Lamb, Salmon or Venison as the #1 ingredient always.
Like I said, simple ingredients, no grains and Merlot switched to it very easily without any issues. Definitely recommend all you pet parents out there check out NUTROTM if you’re looking for some high quality food for you little ones!
