Although we are in a digital age now, there is really nothing I love more than receiving a hand written card from someone. It’s just so personal and so heartfelt. In a time where everything can be purchased online and a gift message can be typed up with the gift, there’s just something about knowing that someone went out of their way to to pick up an old fashioned card and hand write a note for you.
Anyone agree?
I just got back from New York Fashion Week and boy was it amazing. When I heard Papyrus this season was launching a brand-new designer collaboration as a nod to Fashion Week, I couldn’t have been more excited. I’ve always felt that there are so many designer collaborations for example in shoes, notebooks, cell phone cases but never greeting cards!
These cards are right up mine (and any other fashionista’s) alley. First off, Papyrus is known for being rooted in the fashion world making their presence at NYFW the past 9 seasons so it makes total sense they would team up with Zang Toi to create these upscale greeting cards. I’m already obsessed with these designs as they fit my aesthetic perfectly and I always have such a hard time finding greeting cards that speak to me! Now I honestly don’t have to look far.
Like I said, personally, I am a HUGE believer in sending (and receiving) cards in the mail.
It is truly the most genuine way to say thank you, congratulations or just a simple “hi,” which is probably why whenever someone seems to read a card they end up being so touched and sometimes tearing up, right? There’s something so moving about it and something that you can cherish forever. In this digital age, cards carry even more significant and sincerity than ever before.
Hope you guys will check out the Papyrus x Zang Toi collection! You’ll be hooked!
Big thanks to Papyrus for sponsoring this post.
