The Every Girl

There’s something about a good romper in the summertime isn’t there? I mean, it’s easy and effortless and for those summer days that is truly what I want most. If you guys have been following me for some time, then you know my style if very – SoCal and laid back. As a San Diego style blogger, I like to present to you all practical outfits that I would really wear in my everyday life. Although there are those times I will opt for some high fashion items, I’m not a “typical” fashion blogger in the sense that I strive for high street style fashions if that makes sense. I’m all about easy pieces. Items that the every girl could wear and call me crazy but I think that’s what may make me somewhat relatable to most.

Especially in the Spring and Summer months, my style gets a LOT more simple. Think denim shorts, loose flowy tops and lots and lots of rompers. I think I’ve said it before but I will say it again. For those of you who always ask how I get my rompers to fit the way they do — I always size one size up! I am very particular about my clothing and in particular rompers. They can tend to be a little on the shorter side, ride up and sometimes just be a bit too form fitting than I would like. This actually brings me back to funny story — I remember my last trip to NYC I had a video shoot scheduled and I was going through wardrobe. They were trying to get me all dressed for my shoot and of course they wanted me to feel comfortable. They asked me what I liked and my first response was I don’t like super tight form fitting tops, I like a loose flowy feel, etc.. Literally the first thing that came spewing from their mouths? “Oh you must be from Cali aren’t you?” Apparently I’m a dead giveaway.

Regardless, this is MY style and my preference and it is not to say that everyone agrees with me! But to me, there is just nothing pretty about bending down in a romper and giving everyone a show. You know what I mean? For anyone looking however, this ASTR romper is one of my absolute favorite ones of the moment and every time I have worn it I have gotten compliments non stop. A total must!

Don’t worry!!! I won’t be giving it away to anyone who is afraid to continue reading!! Just saying I can’t believe I have to wait 9 months for the next season. What am I going to do?!
