It’s official, hats are here to stay. I will be honest, wearing a hat is one of my favorite accessories of all time and these days you can catch people wearing them more and more. The craziest part? There are now SO many styles to choose from that are “fashionably acceptable” these days and I’m rounding up my favorite hats of the moment.
1 – The Beret
If you don’t already own a beret hat, you are going to want to get your hands on one, ASAP. Just about everyone has been spotted wearing this style and its becoming the hottest accessory. You could play it safe, and grab a classic black beret that will go with everything in your closet. Or you could go all out with a bright option or my personal favorite, a red one for more of a Parisian look 😉
2 – The Baseball Cap
Every woman should own at least one baseball cap—it’s an American must-have. The best thing about baseball caps is that they literally fit all face shapes and head sizes—oh, and gives you the ultimate girl-next-door look. Whether you’re representing your home team by pairing the hat with a plain tee and leggings when running errands, or flaunting a solid-colored cap to hide the fact that you woke up late, a baseball cap is never the wrong choice. I personally have about 20 different baseball hats. It’s kind of an addiction but I wear them almost every day to the gym!
3 – Beanie
Beanies are never going out of style for those colder months! I love a no-hassle look that a beanie adds and the extra warmth it adds is just a plus. I love the look with skinny jeans and a tee for a semi-polished look. If you’re trying to achieve the ultimate laidback look, use a beanie to accessorize your favorite leggings and sweatshirt.
4 – Wide Brim Hats
The wide brim hat has still stayed one of my all time favorites! I’m really loving this statement accessory since it kind of gives a bit of that 70s vibe, elevates any outfit and lets be honest, it’s perfect too ethos lazy days when picking out a cute outfit or brushing your hair seems like the hardest task you’ll ever have to accomplish that day. Who’s with me?
