Yes, I’m a fashion blogger and although I’d like to say I get super dressed up and cute every single day, that’s just not my reality. To be honest, I don’t know how people can get 100% photo ready every day. We all have busy lives, we all have errands to run and million things to do during the day and although I wish I was a millionaire and could hire someone to do it all for me, I just well,… can’t.
Working out has been one of those things I never used to “find time” for until I realized we make time for the things we really want. When I decided to get my butt into shape I told myself I was going to do it no matter what. The way I make it work is I plan my days around my workouts essentially. I literally will go from the gym to running errands or quick appointments and so on. The key to this in my book is to not look like a total wreck when you head to the gym.
Easier said than done, I know.
I will say however, I realize that I one, push myself to go to the gym more if I have cute clothes to wear and two always make sure my outfits are transitional for running errands before/after. I’m usually wearing my favorite leggings, comfy sneakers and a simple top but always pack with me a light sweater/jacket to go with my look since you just never know where the day may take you. Another item I am usually never without is a baseball cap. First of all, I love to work out with them because when I head to the gym I’m usually never hair ready if that makes sense. It’s easy to hide any greasy strands and actually looks pretty cute on a girl in my opinion!
I usually try to find trendy/cute workout items and have my looks match so that I can easily get things done afterwards. It makes me feel as though I’m sorta getting ready without actually trying too hard on those days we all just don’t want to try!
Common, I know you girls can agree!
For those of you who are not fans of wearing a complete workout look out and about I suggest picking items that can work well with jeans and such. For example, today’s look would go great with a pair of skinny jeans and you wouldn’t really know the difference!
