We all want to live a healthy lifestyle, right? The truth is, healthy is not always delicious. I mean, it’s true. For me to actually want to crave something super healthy like yogurt, then it truly has to be the best damn yogurt ever made. That’s just how I am.
I don’t eat crap – plain and simple.
Well — believe me when I say, noosa yoghurt is the best yogurt I’ve ever had. Although usually I like to keep these little gems to myself, today I decided to share this little secret and let you all in on this little gal’s perfect blogger snack.
So let me tell you a bit about why I got super into noosa yoghurt and just in general a healthier living. I won’t bore you with all the details but about 4 months back my mother got very ill — so much so that she actually has been living with me the past month so that I could take care of her. She lost a tremendous amount of weight, her health was declining and I was very worried about her. Having never had the best eating habits (I too included) I knew a change was necessary. I stopped buying anything processed, cooked everything from scratch and made sure she ate a well balanced & extremely healthy diet. After a couple months of eating this way, my life was changed. I could no longer even look at any packaged/frozen foods and forget anything with GMO’s etc… Since I had covered my bases with my daily meals, it was onto finding great snacks. I had never really jumped onto the yogurt bandwagon because everything to me still felt processed. (I swear, once you start eating this way, everything changes and you can tell a difference!) When I heard about noosa yoghurt I figured, I’d give it a try. From the first bite I had, I was totally hooked. Unlike ANY yogurt I’ve ever had in my life. It really wasn’t just any yogurt. It was thick and velvety and tasted like a dream.
noosa yoghurt is made with milk from happy cows never treated with rBGH. It’s also built on a foundation of all-natural fruit and is a great source of calcium and protein and contains live, active cultures and probiotics. Having finally found a yogurt I loved, I started making the easiest little snack for a blogger like myself who finds herself with limited time and well, not the best cooking skills. Just add a bit of granola, some of your favorite fruit (like raspberries and/or blueberries) and Voila! The perfect and HEALTHY mid day snack.
For those of you stuck in a rut of maybe not the healthiest eating, I strongly encourage you to try small steps to change and I promise it changes your life! Start with something small like something like a yogurt change. I promise you will be hooked once you try this one. If you are interested in trying noosa yoghurt head to their site to see where you can find them near you!
Big thanks to noosa yoghurt for sponsoring this post.
