Hey guys! I’m back with Part 2 of my Tria Hair Removal Laser 4X Review. So it’s been about three weeks since I last wrote my first review and I have to say I’m loving it so far! It hasn’t been quite enough time to tell the long term effects of the hair removal BUT I will say I’m feeling pretty confident in how it’s working. I love how easy the product is to use and how relatively tolerable it is! Now I will say, it’s not pain-free because well then I probably would just be completely skeptical that it’s not doing a thing but I will say I was kind of expecting excruciating pain from all the laser hair removal horror stories I’ve heard and it was not bad at all!
Today I’m going to go over the way to use the device since I’ve learned exactly how since my last post and in case any of you purchased your own or are interested in purchasing your own!
You need to use the device at on the targeted area of your body once every two weeks for a total treatment period of 12 weeks. The built-in device pulse counter will alert you to when you’ve fully completed your selected body treatment area.
*Upper lip: 2-3 minutes (25 pulses)
*Underarms: 4-5 minutes per side (100 pulses per side)
*Bikini: 8-10 minutes per side (200 pulses per side)
*Upper Leg: 25-30 minutes per side (600 pulses per side)
*Lower Leg: 25-30 minutes per side (600 pulses per side)
Directions for use:
- Cleanse, shave and towel-dry the area you wish to treat. Apply the Smooth Start Calming Gel to the treatment area to soothe skin and help diminish the sensation of the laser treatment.
- To begin, the device will be set at the lowest level. Just lift and place the laser tip against the targeted area until you hear a beep. After each beep, lift and place in a new treatment area spot about 1/4 inch over so that it overlaps the previous area.
- If the low setting is tolerable, then increase to level 2 or 3 just by pressing the power button. Best results are seen when treating at level 5 (although I haven’t been able to reach this level yet).
Note: Shave, don’t wax or pluck hairs in between treatments.
I’ve been working on my arms, legs, lip area and bikini although I will admit, the bikini is probably the most painful of them all in my opinion. With reason though, right?
I will have a full and final roundup in a couple weeks with the results after I get some more treatments in so I can fully report back!! Hope you guys are enjoying it if you got a chance to get one as well. I’ve been getting a lot of feedback from some of you who have the device and say you love it so it’s getting me even more eager and motivating me more!
