Today I’m excited because I’m sharing a reveal of my spare room that I just upgraded with the change of my bedding and I have to say I’m loving it. If anyone has visited my house then they know it is primarily white with not much pops of color but lately I’ve been wanting to add a bit of color into my home – in particular my spare room. It used to be all white and kind of plain so I knew that a change in my bedding would do the trick.
I recently discovered bluebellgray bedding collections and I seriously fell in love. It was a bit different than the traditional bedding I saw and it still incorporated white with some color to fit my taste. The one I chose was a contemporary, abstract and oversized delphinium floral design in a combination of blues and greens on a crisp white background which went with my aesthetic. I also wanted some kind of a blue tone since I have been loving that combination of whites and blues in my home.
What I love about this whole line is that Fiona Douglas (founder) hand paints every original bluebellgray design, which is then digitally printed onto fabric making it so unique! Also, I’m a big believer in LOTS of pillows on my bed (even if I don’t use them all)! I think it gives a bed so much extra character and charm and really dresses it up and adds that extra “something”! Once I chose my duvet set I then had to get all the matching decorative pillows to finish it! I loved the selection of decorative pillows they had and went with a square green one to add a bit of different tones, and a couple embroidered pillows as well and I’m just loving the way it all turned out!
Hope you all enjoyed a little glimpse into my home!
