Ever since I finally got a little bar set up in my new home I have been taking it upon myself to learn to make some new (and very easy) cocktails. Emphasis on easy.
I’ve never been a master mixologist — mostly because it just scared me and I had a feeling it was harder than it actually is. When I finally took it upon myself to learn a few simple drink recipes I realized how simple it could be. When it comes to cocktails I don’t like those very strong drinks. I like it to be smooth and well,… taste good. I’ve learned a lot has to do with the quality of the alcohol you are using so my motto is to always fork over the extra dollar for a better buy. Trust me, you will be thanking yourself the day after. I also try to choose a cocktail with ingredients that I already like because you can’t really go wrong there which is where today’s cocktail comes in and trust me, it is soo yummy!
1 Part Pinnacle Cherry Vodka
2 Parts Cranberry Juice
Splash of Fresh Lime Juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a cherry.
P.S. Hardest part for me is not eating all my cherries beforehand!!
