What starts with one California REALTOR® benefits all of California. That’s the underlying sentiment of the California Association of REALTORS®(CAR) integrated consumer ad campaign called “Ripple.” Now in its second year, the “Ripple” campaign connects the dots between REALTORS® and the California economy, illustrating how a Champion of Home can help consumers close on their dreams and together benefit the entire state.
As you all know (or maybe you don’t) I am a proud California homeowner. I bought my first place when I was 22, sold it three years later and bought my second home just last year. It’s been an absolute dream! I always wanted to work hard and own my own home and I made a lot of steps to get there early on. Don’t get me wrong, it’s tough, stressful, expensive but then again, so rewarding. San Diego is filled with amazing beaches, gorgeous skyline and beautiful weather so it’s no surprise why I love it here. I always get asked by readers who are headed to San Diego if I could give them some advice of places to visit & things to do.
Head to the beach of course! My favorite thing to do in San Diego is to head west and end up at the beach. You can swim, surf, walk, play with your dog or just lay and get a nice tan (my favorite!).
Visit Shamu at Sea World and the top rated zoo – The San Diego Zoo!
I love being outdoors and like to hike and go for walks. A great hike is Cowle’s Mountain and another one of my favorites is Torrey Pines (although that one is a bit easier) but has a beautiful view.
Head to Balboa Park for beautiful scenery, architecture, museums and performances.
Little Italy is my favorite place for restaurants and nights out! It is a neighborhood in Downtown with all of the best Italian restaurants and ambiance ever! Hope you all enjoyed my little tips, I’ll share more throughout the upcoming months! =)
