Cinco de Mayo is almost here and you know what that means?! I’m getting in the mood and gathering all I need to prep those amazing drinks to serve! I don’t know about you guys but every Cinco de Mayo I’m craving a good margarita and this year I have decided on a Sauza-rita (get it?) 😉
On another note, let me tell you all a rather embarassing story that definitely called for a magarita and it wasn’t on Cinco de Mayo. I am all about DIY projects and hands on work. I’m a girl but hey, sometimes you just can’t ask everyone to do it all for you so I take matters into my own hands! The other day I was hanging a curtain rod (by myself) and as I was standing on the ladder I thought all I needed was a few more inches so I reached my foot onto a nearby chair and well…can you guess the rest? The chair went toppling down (as did I and everything that was nailed into the wall) and BAM chair into wall. Needless to say, I now have a ginormous and not so glamorous hole in my wall that cannot be fixed with your ordinary spackle job. I seriously probably stared at the hole I had just made for a good 10 minutes until I realized, it’s time for a margarita. There’s nothing like sharing stories like these while laughing & sipping on a Sauza-rita to enjoy the upcoming holiday.
To get the Sauza-rita recipe that I’m loving here it is:
1 Can Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
1 Bottle Light Beer
1 Can Frozen Limeade
1 Can Water
Pour Limeade and Beer into a pitcher with ice. Fill Limeade can with Sauza Blue Silver and pour into pitcher. Finally, ad a can of water, stir & enjoy.
(I always like to add slices of lime in the drink for a pretty look)
Nothing’s more relaxing than a cool desert breeze blowing across your tired shoulders. Oh wait. That’s the breath of a man who has something very important to tell you. He’s the cowboy. And he’s here to help you relax after a hard day on the ranch. When he’s not rounding up baby cattle, he’s rounding up ingredients for the perfect Sauza–rita.
