Go Big or Go Home – bigger is always better when it comes to hair and style, don’t you agree?! I recently had the opportunity to try out Salon Graphix‘s Play It Big Dry Shampoo and Hairspray infused with Keratin Protein Complex! Note: I am a sucker for everything Keratin =) Let me give you a bit of background on my hair.. I have very fine hair and I don’t like to wash it everyday which means — greasy ugly hair after day 1. The only way I avoid it is by using a good dry shampoo. I am really liking this one because it acts as a great dry shampoo and also I use it to add texture to my hair from time to time when I need it! It’s also great if you’re looking to add volume by spraying and teasing a few sections of hair. It comes in Blonde, Brunette and Clear (I opted for the clear). Since I’m typically always wearing my hair up at work its also essential I have a hairspray available at all times to hold my updos into place. The Salon Grafix hairspray does just that but doesn’t give you the sticky & stiff feeling that some hairsprays do.
To channel a bigger (yet easy) hairstyle, I went with the elegant and classic Milkmaid Braid. Prior to starting the style, I sprayed my hair with the Salon Grafix Dry Shampoo for added texture since I wanted the braid to be well defined. At the end I sprayed with the Salon Grafix hairspray to hold. Whenever I see this hairstyle I always think that its one of those looks that never loses it’s romance factor and adds a big impact to a simple updo. With that being said, I have created a little video tutorial to show you all how I achieve the look.
